Wedding Photographer Limburg: Styled festival wedding photoshoot in the beautiful gardens of Castle Aerwinkel in Posterholt
For the fourth year in a row, I have been collaborating with colleagues from the wedding industry to organize a wedding photoshoot for inspiration for future couples. This year, Joyce Peters from Joy's Wedding Events took on the entire organization. Together with Janine and Peter from Cox Design, we brainstormed a theme for the wedding photoshoot, and quickly settled on the theme: festival wedding.
As they say, actions speak louder than words - during the NTBO wedding industry gathering, we all spoke with various enthusiastic suppliers, and thus the team for this season was formed. Petra from Castle Aerwinkel provided her wedding venue. At the wedding fair at Castle Vaalsbroek, I met two very creative ladies who provided a trendy Bohemian wedding dress, and I met two enthusiastic people from Maastricht who delivered a beautiful suit in line with the theme.
Joy arranged for a food truck, a trendy caravan with champagne. While out and about, I met a nice girl who wanted to pose as a model with her boyfriend. Marlou, as always, was eager to do the makeup and bridal hairstyle.
And so, on Monday at half past four, under the cloudy sky, we stood together with everyone else and set up the background for the wedding photoshoot. From our private collection came the pillows, candle holders, and the hammock, in which I also posed for a short while.
An hour later, everything was set up, and we started photographing all the festival and wedding themes according to the shooting list prepared by Joyce. There was a wedding cake, cupcakes, the bride had to be lifted into the hammock, and various bridal shoes had to be worn under her wedding dress. Balloons had to be hung, cotton candy made, and popcorn eaten.
Together, we were unstoppable. Tired but satisfied, we finally finished at 10:00 p.m. Everything was tidied up, the party lights retrieved from the fallen tree, my trunk full of cushions, and my memory card full of fantastic, inspiring wedding photos of this very photogenic couple.
A magazine will be created from these wedding photos to inspire future couples.
